What attracted you to pursue the new ICE-CCP certification?
I pursued the ICE-CCP certification because I was excited to obtain a certification in credentialing. Throughout my 12-year career in credentialing working with other professions, I have longed for a certification in this field of work. Even though I have obtained multiple certifications over the years, the ICE-CCP is extra special because it provides the opportunity to demonstrate competence in my chosen profession.
How did you prepare for taking the exam?
I studied the content outline for the exam to understand the scope of information that would be tested. Then I brushed up on the topic areas by studying the I.C.E. Certification Handbook. It was a very useful resource.
What was the remotely proctored exam experience like for you?
The remotely proctored exam process was seamless. I was nervous about it, but the proctor guided me through the process and was helpful when I needed assistance.
What advice might you offer to those considering the pursuit of ICE-CCP certification?
I would encourage every certification professional to pursue the ICE-CCP certification. The ICE-CCP provides the unique opportunity to learn and demonstrate competence in professional credentialing, governance and resources, credentialing program operations, and assessment development and validation.
