The spread of COVID-19 has had a strong impact on all industries. As news changes every day, we recognize that this is a challenging time as you navigate deadlines, questions from certificants, and process concerns. No doubt you have found many resources to guide you through this confusing and critical time. ICE is opening up this dialogue to determine what credentialing bodies should be asking related to impacts on the business practices most at risk. In addition, hear how other organizations are adapting to these unexpected times.

William M. Ellis. MS, RPh

William M. Ellis MS, RPh was named Executive Director of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in 2010. From 1997-2011, Mr. Ellis served as CEO and Executive Director of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Foundation. He was the Executive Vice President for the Pennsylvania Society of Health-System Pharmacists from 1986-1997.

Mr. Ellis also served as the elected Chair of the Council on Credentialing in Pharmacy (CCP) from 2012-2015. In 2014, he was appointed a commissioner to the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and was elected as the 2016 Chairman and was a member of the ICE Board of Directors from 2015- 2018 In 2019, he was named a member of Liaison Committee on Medical Education which accredits medical schools and college in the U.S. and Canada.
