In 2021, I.C.E. launched the premier certification program for credentialing professionals, the I.C.E. Certified Credentialing Professional® (ICE-CCP®), with the goals to recognize competence, add value to the profession, provide a clear career path and ultimately benefit individuals and organizations. The ICE-CCP allows credentialing professionals to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and abilities in governance, program operations, and assessment development and validation. In addition to the examination, I.C.E. has also been developing multiple examination preparation resources for those preparing to sit for the ICE-CCP examination, including its newest resource, the ICE-CCP Workshop. These resources were developed separately from the ICE-CCP exam but align closely with the Examination Content Outline.
Learn more about the workshop, as well as other examination resources, below.
New: The ICE-CCP Workshop
Designed for individuals interested in taking the ICE-CCP examination or in learning more about the ICE-CCP content areas, the interactive ICE-CCP Workshop will define who the credentialing professional is and who the ICE-CCP examination is written for, provide an overview of each content domain of the examination content outline and review considerations for sitting for the examination.
Facilitators (Fall 2023 Workshop)
- Cynthia Allen, ICE-CCP, SeaCrest Consulting
- Vita Greco, ICE-CCP, Professional Testing Corporation (PTC)
- Janice Moore, ICE-CCP, SeaCrest Consulting
- Kelly Zhao, PhD, ICE-CCP, PSI
Hear from two of the workshop’s facilitators and ICE-CCP certificants on why they believe the workshop is a beneficial tool for preparing for the ICE-CCP examination below.
“The ICE-CCP workshop is a beneficial tool to aid in preparing for the ICE-CCP examination and for those who want a better understanding of the content areas that contribute to the dynamic role of the credentialing professional. Each module is presented by certified, experienced industry professionals who break down the important concepts within each domain of the test content outline. Participants will be able to sharpen their knowledge through the lectures, sample questions, study guide, suggested reading, and since the workshop is interactive, participants will actively learn by engaging in discussions of scenarios and asking questions throughout each module.” —Vita Greco, ICE-CCP
“The ICE-CCP Workshop provides a detailed review across all three examination content domains. It serves as a wide-ranging, introductory resource for early career certification specialists looking to understand best practices for certification and certificate programs and a way for more experienced industry professionals to improve their understanding of content areas they are less familiar with. Professionals whose work focuses in only one or two domains can look to the workshop as a tool to improve their understanding and explore how the content areas impact each other. The live format provides plenty of opportunities for questions, discussion and connections with colleagues as well.” —Janice Moore, ICE-CCP
